Great combination of ingredients to support the liver! There’s milk thistle, of course! But also a few other herbs to help out including artichoke, dandelion, yarrow, and burdock. All in an easy to absorb capsule! The only issue I would have with this is that some of the herbs can interact with other medications, so check to make sure that you’re aware of how each one might affect them. Otherwise, everything here is good. I’ve taken this for a couple of days and have not noticed any negative side effects.
I like taking care of my body and a good detox is one way to do that.I ordered these supplements because the liver is such an important organ in everyday bodily functions so giving it some attention is obviously beneficial. These supplements are made of simple ingredients that have diverse functions, such as milk thistle seed (to support gentle cleansing), artichoke leaf (to support healthy digestion), artichoke root (to support natural detoxification), yarrow aerial parts (to support antioxidant defenses), and burdock root (promotes natural cleansing and systemic balance). Together, this formula: supports bloat-free digestion and natural energy, promote healthy liver function, boost energy levels, and optimize liver metabolism. The directions state that the supplements are to be taken before a meal. The serving size is 2 capsules daily. There are 120 capsules in the container, which is a 60 day supply. The capsules are easy to swallow with no unpleasant aftertaste. It is hard to rate this supplement because it isn’t a quick fix that happens instantly. It takes a few months of consistent use to see all the benefits. I have been taking it for about 2 weeks and I do feel like I have more energy and that my sleep has gotten better. I’m sure more benefits are yet to come.Other aspects of this product that I approve of are that they are 3rd party tested, gluten/soy/dairy -free, and they are made in the USA in a cGMP certified facility.
This supplement blend works well for me. After a few weeks I no longer notice bloating after dinner. The bottle contains a 2 month supply so you get a chance to determine if it works for you.The capsules are easy to swallow. They do not smell or taste funny. I do not experience an after taste or "burps" with this supplement. Overall i am happy with it.
I started using these , and so far I’ve had no adverse effects, it’s recommended to take on an empty stomach! It didn’t give any hurtburn or stomach pain or nausea ! It’s too early to tell if there are any good effects to it ! But I like them and will continue using them !
I've reached the age where routine bloodwork gets a little more attention than it used to. While my numbers have generally been good, I've become more interested in supporting overall health rather than waiting for something to become a problem. What caught my eye about this supplement was the ingredient list. Milk thistle is the one most people recognize, but I liked seeing artichoke, dandelion, burdock, and yarrow included as well. Instead of relying on a single ingredient, it takes more of a blended approach. The capsules are average size and easy to swallow. I've been taking the recommended dose with breakfast and haven't experienced any stomach issues, aftertaste, or other side effects.I also appreciate that it's made in the USA, produced in a GMP-certified facility, and third-party tested. With supplements, those things matter to me more than flashy marketing claims. As for results, I think it's important to be realistic. A supplement like this isn't something where I expect to feel dramatically different after a few days. For me, it's more about consistency and supporting healthy habits over time. The bottle contains 120 capsules, which works out to a two-month supply. That's a nice change from some supplements that seem to run out almost as soon as you start taking them.Overall, I like the ingredient profile, I've had no issues taking it, and the value seems reasonable for a 60-day supply. Based on my experience so far, I'd have no problem continuing to use it.
It will take time to see benefits or changes, but I'm hoping for better numbers on my blood work. I do like the combination of ingredients though.
I’m 47, post-gallbladder, and I don’t drink, but I do take TUDCA + meds that are hard on the liver. Doc said “support it daily.” Started this 5-herb liver blend 2 months ago. What’s in it: Milk thistle, dandelion, artichoke, turmeric, schisandra. Standard combo but this one actually uses decent extract vs cheap powder. 120 capsules = 2 month supply at 2/day.How I feel: Less “heavy” feeling after meals. Digestion is smoother. TUDCA handles bile, this handles overall liver detox pathways. They stack well together. Energy is more steady too — liver stress = fatigue for me.Capsules: Normal size, not horse pills. No weird taste/burps. Take with food since turmeric needs fat.Labs: Just had bloodwork last week. Liver enzymes ALT/AST stayed in normal range. Doc said “whatever you’re doing, keep it.” Not claiming this cured anything — just solid daily support.Bottom line: If you take meds, drink occasionally, or just want daily liver care, this 5-herb blend covers the bases. Milk thistle for protection, dandelion for flow, turmeric for inflammation. 120 count = good value.
What attracted me to this supplement was the combination of ingredients rather than relying on a single herb. The formula includes several commonly used ingredients for liver support, making it feel more comprehensive than many basic products. The capsules are a reasonable size, and the bottle contains a generous supply with 120 capsules. I also appreciate that the ingredient list is straightforward and focused on liver health rather than including a lot of unnecessary extras.I’ve had a positive experience with it so far and haven’t noticed any digestive issues or unpleasant aftertaste.Overall, this seems like a well-formulated liver support supplement with a thoughtful blend of ingredients and a good value for the quantity provided.
*This review is strictly based on the product itself and not on the long-term effects.*I was taking a liver supplement that required three capsules per day. I found it to be a bit excessive, so I ordered this one when I discovered it’s only two per day.I always take my supplements with food - unless it’s something that says you should take between meals. I can’t speak for how this affects users on an empty stomach.I didn’t have any strange side effects - no nausea, heartburn, or other odd sensations. The pills are also average sized and easy to swallow. This product has somewhat of a strong smell. It’s not horrible, but it’s not what I would consider pleasant. I’ll note it’s not bad enough for me to refuse the supplement - it’s just a bit earthy.I can’t tell an overall difference in how I feel or if it’s changed my life, but if it’s something that keeps my liver enzymes within a normal range, I’m willing to try it.I also appreciate that this supplement lasts at least two months. So many of these products are only good for 30 days. While I would recommend this product, I can’t guarantee it’ll deliver the lab results you’re looking for.
I want to lead this review with something I think is important for anyone considering a liver health supplement: as a generally healthy male with no known liver issues, it is genuinely difficult — if not impossible — to assess whether this product is "working" in any measurable way. Your liver doesn't send you notifications when it's happy. That honest caveat is why I'm giving this 4 stars rather than 5, and I think any review that claims dramatic liver health improvements from a supplement like this deserves some healthy skepticism. That said, I'm taking this for preventative health care and general wellness, which is actually the most sensible reason to take a liver support supplement — maintaining good liver health before problems arise rather than treating existing issues. For that purpose, the 5-herb natural blend is a thoughtfully assembled formula. Ingredients commonly found in liver support supplements like milk thistle, dandelion, and similar botanicals have a reasonable body of traditional and emerging research behind them. What I can evaluate objectively is the supplement itself — and on that front it checks the right boxes. The ingredients are clean and natural with no harsh chemical additives. The capsules are easy to swallow with no unpleasant smell or taste, and I've had zero side effects or digestive issues throughout use.At 120 capsules the supply is solid for the price.Bottom line: A clean, well-formulated herbal liver support supplement that's worth taking preventatively — just go in with realistic expectations. For a healthy individual, measurable results are essentially impossible to perceive, which is the honest truth about this entire supplement category.
This is a set of softcaps with a brown powder inside, which is unfortunately dusted throughout the inside of the bottle. It doesn't affect the taste but it is annoying to potentially breathe in. The bottle came safety sealed and hasn't given me any stomach issues or other side effects--all good. I like it overall for the promise of its liver support (always a good thing).
My husband has been taking this Asktata Liver Health Support supplement for two months as part of his overall longevity stack. Since he started taking it, he says he’s been feeling more energized and experiencing less bloating. Because he’s taking other supplements as well, we can’t attribute those changes to this product alone, but the experience has been positive. This isn’t the type of supplement to expect immediate results from, so we approached it with realistic expectations. After doing some research, I found Asktata to be a relatively new company with an official website outlining its science-led philosophy, evidence-based formulations, third-party testing, U.S. manufacturing, and commitment to non-GMO ingredients without unnecessary fillers. That’s exactly what we look for in a supplement brand. My only criticism is that I’d like to see Certificates of Analysis (COAs) made more readily available instead of requiring customers to request them. At around $40 for a two-month supply—and often on sale for about $10 less—I think it’s competitively priced.
I started taking this liver support supplement because I wanted a simple herbal formula to add to my daily wellness routine. I like that it includes familiar ingredients such as milk thistle, artichoke, dandelion root, yarrow, and burdock, rather than relying on just one herb. The ingredient list is straightforward, and I appreciate that it is made in the USA, produced in a cGMP facility, third-party tested, and free from gluten, soy, and dairy. The capsules are average sized and easy to swallow. I take them with food and have not noticed any stomach discomfort, aftertaste, or unpleasant side effects. There is a mild earthy herbal smell when opening the bottle, but it is not strong enough to bother me.It is still too early for me to say whether there will be major long-term benefits, but so far it has been easy to work into my routine. The 120-capsule bottle is also nice since it gives you a full 60-day supply at the recommended dose. I do think it is a little pricey, but if the formula works well for you, the quality and quantity make it a solid liver support option.
I've found this supplement to be a welcome addition to my daily routine. The thoughtful blend of Milk Thistle, Artichoke, and Dandelion Root offers a gentle yet effective approach to supporting my body's natural cleansing processes. Having 120 capsules in one bottle provides great value, and I appreciate knowing it's made in the USA. Since incorporating it into my wellness regimen, I feel more confident that I'm supporting my liver health and overall vitality. For anyone looking for a reliable, natural supplement to complement a healthy lifestyle, this is a choice I'd confidently recommend.
I like that this supplement combines several herbal ingredients that I have previously taken individually, including milk thistle, artichoke, dandelion, yarrow, and burdock. Having them all in one capsule is more convenient, reduces the number of supplements I need to take, and is often a more economical approach than purchasing each herb separately. The capsules themselves are well made and easy to take. The only minor drawback is the smell, which is a bit stronger than I would prefer. It isn't overwhelming, but it is noticeable when opening the bottle.I have not had any abnormal liver blood work, so I can't personally comment on the effectiveness of this product for liver health. My goal is simply to support overall wellness, and I view this as an occasional herbal supplement rather than something I can objectively evaluate for measurable results.Overall, this is a convenient, well-formulated herbal blend that makes it easy to take several commonly used liver support ingredients in a single supplement.
I started taking one of these daily with breakfast just to give my liver some nutritional support. The capsules are straightforward to swallow and don't leave any lingering taste or aftertaste, which matters when you're taking something consistently. The ingredient list reads like an herbalist's toolkit, milk thistle, artichoke, dandelion root, and a few others, without any filler or artificial stuff. I notice the capsules are gentle on my digestion, even on days when my stomach's been off. Since it's designed for daily long-term use, I appreciate that it's not something that's supposed to work dramatically; it's just there to provide steady herbal support. The bottle holds a hundred and twenty capsules, which is a solid quantity if you're committing to daily supplementation. Nothing fancy about the product itself, but that's actually the appeal, it's clean, mild, and does what it's supposed to do without drama.
One thing I appreciate about this supplement is that the ingredient blend is clearly listed and includes several herbs commonly associated with traditional liver support, including milk thistle, artichoke, dandelion, yarrow, and burdock root. The capsules are easy to take, and I like that the formula is made in the USA, manufactured in a cGMP facility, and is free from gluten, soy, and dairy. The fact that it is third-party tested also provides an added level of confidence regarding quality control.Since supplements work differently for everyone and often require consistent use over time, I don't expect immediate dramatic results. What I look for is a well-formulated product made with quality ingredients and transparent labeling, and this supplement checks those boxes. The bottle provides a generous supply, making it easy to evaluate over an extended period. For those interested in adding a liver support supplement to their wellness routine, this formula offers a combination of traditional herbal ingredients in a convenient daily capsule.
I've tried a handful of liver support supplements over the years, and this one has a pretty straightforward ingredient profile. The main ingredient is milk thistle at 500 mg, with artichoke, dandelion, yarrow, and burdock added as supporting herbs. If you're looking for a simple herbal liver support formula, it checks the basic boxes. The capsules are easy to swallow and didn't leave any unpleasant aftertaste or upset my stomach. I also appreciate that it's manufactured in a GMP-certified facility and advertises third-party testing. My only real criticism is that I wish the label listed the standardization of the milk thistle extract (such as the percentage of silymarin). That's useful information when comparing products, especially at this price point ... This is a pretty high price for what it is.Overall, it's a solid herbal supplement that was easy to take and appears to use quality ingredients, but I'd like a little more transparency about the extracts because currently, it's overpriced at $40.
My acupuncturist recommended that I start taking a liver support supplement, which is why I ordered this supplement. This supplement contains:500 mg of Milk Thistle (seed) extract130 mg. of Artichoke (leaf) extract100 mg. of Dandelion (root) extract100 mg. of Yarrow (aerial parts) extract70 mg. of Burdock (root) extractIts “other ingredients” are: gelatin (capsule) rice flour, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide. The Amazon listing page for this supplement says that it is a 3 in 1 formula: “(1) supports bloat free digestion & natural energy*; (2) promote healthy liver function*; (3) boosting physical vitality by optimizing liver metabolism*.”The asterisk reference under these claims says, “These claims have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, or that this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.”So, of course, I don’t know if this supplement will provide any of those three benefits for me, but in case it might, I am happy to be taking it. This product was only delivered to me a few days ago, so it is far too early to tell if I might feel long term benefits from taking it. It might just be a placebo effect, but in the past few days I have felt a slight improvement in the feeling of after meal bloating. I think I’ve felt a little lighter and a bit less of a “sluggish” feeling after meals. I’m looking forward to seeing if, after taking it for a few weeks or months, I might experience the other benefits this product’s listing mentions.Other things I like about this supplement are that it is made in the USA in a cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) facility, is third party tested, and is gluten, soy and dairy free. I would feel even better about it if it listed the organization that did its third party testing, but most of the supplements I’ve looked at don’t list that, so it isn’t unusual. Still, I think it would be better if all supplements were required to list the name of their third party testing organization, if they have one, but it isn’t a requirement. The current price for this liver support supplement on Amazon is $39.99. With added sales tax in my area (tax in your area will probably be different) the total cost is $43.63 for 120 capsules. With the recommended daily dosage of two capsules, this is a 60 day supply, which makes the daily dosage cost about 73 cents per day. That seems to me to be on the expensive side for a supplement. But, if, over time, I feel I am getting good benefits from it, I will think it’s worth it.
It is important to take care of your liver and that is why I decided to give these AskTaTa Liver Support capsules. The goal of these capsules is to support the body's natural cleansing processes, support antioxidant defenses and support metabolic pathways. These supplements contain milk thistle extract, artichoke extract, dandelion extract, yarrow extract and burdock root extract. The serving size is 2 capsules so this bottle will last around 2 months. The capsules are gluten free and soy free. The capsules are easy to swallow and have been easy to digest. I haven't had any adverse effects. I haven't noticed much of a difference but I expect something like this to work in background to improve wellness. The cost is a good value since you get 2 months worth of product.
